Objectives
Our center operates in line with comprehensive goals aimed at improving the quality of education for gifted individuals and disseminating research and practices in this field throughout the country.
- To improve the quality of education provided to gifted individuals and to spread this educational system throughout the country.
- To establish an education, research, and application laboratory supporting the development of gifted individuals; and to collaborate with institutions and organizations established for similar purposes.
- To conduct research, prepare projects, and contribute to existing research and projects at the national and international level.
- To organize joint studies with national and international institutions and organizations active in the field of gifted individuals; to prepare, implement, and monitor application and research projects.
- To organize and attend various scientific meetings such as seminars, workshops, conferences, symposia, and congresses at the national and international level.
- To develop educational environments and programs that support the academic, physical, and psycho-social development of gifted individuals.
- To lead the identification of guidance and psychological counseling needs of gifted individuals, and the development and implementation of related programs.
- To obtain information on the education and psycho-social development of gifted children and to establish a communication network for the systematic research and sharing of this information with the public.
- To conduct studies for the identification of gifted individuals in our country, to develop scales, revise existing scales, and to adapt scales used worldwide to our culture.
- To encourage academics to focus on these topics by offering graduate and doctoral level courses and seminars on gifted individuals at universities.
- To organize training and guidance services to raise awareness among parents of gifted children.
- To organize certified training programs and courses; to support the professional development of staff responsible for the education of gifted children.
- To organize events related to career selection for gifted individuals and to provide career counseling services.
- To provide an environment for research and activities that will contribute to the assessment of gifted individuals in our country and their becoming individuals beneficial to society.
